Ceremonial
Cacao's Oldest Tradition
For over 5,000 years, cacao has been revered across the Americas as “Food of the Gods,” treasured for its flavor, nutritional value, restorative qualities, and sacred role in ceremonies and community life. Above all, it has always had the power to bring people together.
That same reverence guides how we source our cacao today. We choose to work with those who tend the land and honor the people who have cared for cacao for generations, so every bar carries forward a tradition of respect, not only for the fruit, but for where it comes from and who it comes from.
May every cup, bar, and shared experience serve as an invitation to appreciate the history, wisdom, and timeless wonder of cacao
Cacao adventures
Our friends at Cacao Adventures celebrate the rare and remarkable cacao of Peru. Working directly with indigenous communities and small family farms, they source exceptional wild and native cacao varieties while honoring generations of tradition, knowledge, and connection to the land.
Produced in small, traceable batches with minimal processing, each cacao retains the distinctive character of its origin. These relationships help preserve ancestral cacao, protect the forests where it grows, and support the communities who have cared for it for generations. Pink Chocolate is proud to share their extraordinary cacao, and the beautiful story behind it.
